Claw Hammer - Podium Unlevel and straight no-hang portable trainer
Claw Hammer - Podium Unlevel and straight no-hang portable trainer
Why use an Unlevel edge?
Not all fingers are built equally so why train on only an equal level surface? Unlevel edges allow for the fingers to work more cooperatively during finger flexion. The tissues responsible for finger flexion are primarily shared across fingers thus allowing better finger strength training adaptations.
Designed to the average human finger length. The Claw Hammer is slightly better for your yielding or eccentric type lifts (keeping finger locked in half crimp during lift).
Alternate right and left hands to switch on the unlevel edge. Then flip to the other side for straight edge pulls.

The edges are comfy, you don’t have to reset the block each time you pull on either hand, the back side doubling as an edge is just genius. This takes away the need for me to bring two blocks to the gym. Super high quality feeling too, I’m obsessed already. I got one after trying one my friend had and realized I made a mistake not getting this in the first place. Great work Aaron!
Beautiful craftsmanship with the utmost care and love devoted into these products
MADE IN THE USA
No where else to look for training tools
The hold itself is great. Lightweight and sturdy, and very useful to have both a straight edge and unlevel edge for training. More importantly, the level of customer service is unparalleled. My first shipment got lost in the mail and Aaron sent over a replacement quickly despite it not being in any way his fault. Would buy again!
I’ve had some holds from Crux Forged for a couple years now and I followed up with this claw hammergrip and it’s been great, the same high quality-production to use for both myself and the clients I train, it’s been wonderful to use and I’ll be back for more again soon
